Set up

Four steps, about five minutes.

  1. 01

    Run the installer

    Double-click the file and follow the prompts. It needs administrator rights because Resolve reads plugins from a system folder.

  2. 02

    Turn on scripting, once

    In Resolve: Preferences › System › General › External scripting using set to Local, then Save. On Resolve 19 it sits under Preferences › General.

  3. 03

    Open Broll inside Resolve

    Workspace › Workflow Integrations › Broll AI. It opens as a chat panel next to your timeline.

  4. 04

    Create your account

    Name, email and phone number, then the 6-digit code we email you. Your free credit is added straight away.

What you need

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • DaVinci Resolve Studio 19 (the free edition does not allow plugins)
  • An internet connection: Broll's AI runs in the cloud
